Wednesday, March 10, 2010 Leigh Scott on Cinema Craze! Check out this exclusive interview by Cinema Craze of Leigh Scott talking about "The Witches of Oz" here! Here's what he said about working with Paulie: Cinema Craze- Paulie Rojas has a real classical look to her, was that one of the things you took in to consideration when casting her as Dorothy? Leigh Scott-Yes. Paulie does have this sort of Audrey Hepburn thing going on which was key. We needed somebody who just looked innocent and had a sort of etherial, classic beauty. From the first time she shows up in the film you know that she's the good guy and you're rooting for her. It was important to cast someone who could hold their own opposite Eliza Swenson who plays Dorothy's big city best friend. Eliza has such a va va va voom look that we needed balance, but still needed somebody beautiful and able to act the wide range of emotions that the character goes through.![]()

May 5, 2009 Paulie's film "Political Disasters" directed by Zach Horton will be premiered on Friday, June 26 at the Mark Goodson theatre at AFI! Paulie stars along with three-time Emmy award winner Barbara Bain (Mission: Impossible) and Tim Dekay (Tell Me You Love Me). "Political Disasters" is the final film to be
produced in Zach Horton's Disaster Trilogy, though it is the first film
(chronologically) in the Trilogy. The film follows two families with dubious ties over the course of five years: 1999-2003. Jim (Tim DeKay), a consummate businessman and expert liar, is enlisted by his employer Michael (Michael Bryan French) to fix his "familial static," caused by his racist, isolated mother (Barbara Bain) and rebelling daughter (Paulie Rojas). Jim has more than enough on his own familial plate, however, as he spirals into an existential crises after cheating--on his mistress. As George W. Bush takes the helm of the U.S. Government and the War On Terror invades the airwaves, the domestic disasters pile up faster than you can pull that voting booth lever.
